Abstract: In order to get the thorough acquaintance with electromagnetic field around power lines, it is necessary to determine both; the magnitude of electric field strength vector, as well as its polarization, witch is usually elliptic. Knowing the electric field strength vector polarization is crucial, because it has the major impact on human body, and enables the exact determination of aximal magnitude of electric field strength vector. Therefore, the electric field strength vector polarization has to be calculated first, in order to determine the maximal value of electric field strength vector in both semi major axes directions.
